A buyers inspection can be performed to determine whether proceeding
with the purchase of an existing home is prudent. Home purchase
contracts often contain a provision for a home inspection and certain
stipulations concerning the condition of various home systems and
components.  
On the surface a home may appear to be in good shape, but our
inspection experience tells us that, in addition to typical minor
deficiencies, significant structural deficiencies, defects, and safety
concerns affect many homes. Also, major maintenance and repair costs,
such as replacement of the roof or air conditioning equipment, may be a
near term or immediate concern.
